Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor atau yang lebih dikenal dengan nama panggung Lorde kelahiran Selandia baru pada 7 November 1996 meluncurkan debut albumnya yang di beri judul 'Pure Heroin' pada tanggal 27 September 2013 dengan single utamanya Royals. Datang dengan status sebagai pendatang baru Lorde langsung menggebrak dan mencuri perhatian para pecinta musik internasional lewat single Royals-nya.
